SOC 397: Sociology of Sexualities
An exploration of sexuality as a mix of desire, learned behavior, social expression, and cultural constraint. Subject matter ranges from the symbolic meanings of bodies and sexual acts to modern ideas of self and identity. Other topics include face-to-face interactions, relations within radical subcultures, pornography, sex education, and liberationist social movements.
